Kinijit announces a fund raising program for Ethiopians in the US and Canada in cooperation with the web site www.FreeEthiopia.us. On FreeEthiopia.us, the community can buy its favorite long distance phone cards. FreeEthiopia.us donates to Kinijit 40% of its proceeds (a minimum of 8.5% of the sales price) on every phone card sold through its website. Another 10% helps support the referring web site or media outlet.FreeEthiopia also donates to Kinijit 50% of its proceeds ($2.50 per transaction) on Western Union money transfers and 75 cents on Quick Collect bill payments.

The community is asked to buy its phone cards through FreeEthiopia.us and to encourage its friends and family to participate in this program.
